Covid-19 Safety Measures
For weddings and special occasions, I will set up ideally in a separate room away from clients and other professionals working on the day.
Each members of the party will be asked to come in individually for their makeup. To maintain social distancing, others present who are not having makeup on the day, will not be allowed in same room.
I will thoroughly wash my hands before your appointment and use hand sanitiser throughout the appointment.
I will use personal protective equipment (ex. face mask/visor) during your appointment. Before starting work I will disinfect the surface area and place a clean towel down.
My makeup kit will be regularly cleaned and disinfected. All tools, products and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in between every client and at the end of the day. Makeup which can be decanted (ex. solid lipsticks) will be done so using stainless steel spatulas and sanitized mixing palettes. Disposable mascara wands are always used and are never double dipped back into the tube after the first application.
I would ask my clients to wash their hands and apply hand sanitiser before the appointment begins.
All disposable items are bagged up and safely removed between each client.
In order to avoid handling of cash, I would ask that you pay for your makeup in advance by BACS transfer.
If I happen to fall ill or have any symptoms of COVID-19, our appointment will have to be rescheduled/cancelled. For trial days: I will re-schedule your appointment as soon as possible after the required 14-day isolation period. For your wedding day: I will arrange for an equally qualified Makeup Artist to complete the services for the same agreed upon terms of payment. If I am unable to find a replacement artist, a 100% refund is provided.
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 on the day, please advise me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I will not be able to do your makeup and we will have to reschedule your appointment for as soon as possible after the required 14-day isolation period has elapsed.
The World Health Organisation has listed some of the most common symptoms of COVID-19 as fever, dry cough, tiredness, loss of smell and taste.
